The Klamath Interfaith Food Pantry was formed in 2024 through a partnership between Klamath Lutheran Church, Hope Lutheran Church, Klamath Falls Friends Church, and the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Klamath County after both the Klamath/Hope Lutheran pantry and the Friends pantry faced closure. Rather than let these long-standing ministries end, volunteers from all four congregations came together in a spirit of unity to launch a new, collaborative pantry located in the Klamath Lutheran Church basement.
The Pantry operates entirely through volunteers and relies solely on donations and food from the Klamath-Lake County Food Bank. It uses a client “shopping model,” allowing individuals and families to choose the items they need with dignity and flexibility. The pantry is open the last two Tuesdays of each month from 5:30 to 7:00 PM. Together, this interfaith partnership is a living expression of shared faith and compassion, committed to feeding the hungry, supporting neighbors, and working side by side in service to the community.
Bristol Hospice Klamath Falls provides free grief and bereavement support to anyone in the community, offering a compassionate and understanding space to process loss, share experiences, and find healing. Support groups meet on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month from 1:30–2:30 PM at Klamath Lutheran Church. These gatherings are open to all, regardless of hospice affiliation, and are designed to help individuals navigate grief, build resilience, and rediscover hope.
