The Klamath Interfaith Food Pantry is a shared ministry made possible through the partnership of Klamath Lutheran Church, Hope Lutheran Church, Klamath Falls Friends Church, and the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Klamath County. Formed in 2024, this collaboration grew out of a desire to continue and strengthen local food ministries that were facing closure. By coming together, volunteers from across these faith communities created something new. A unified effort to care for our neighbors and ensure that no one in Klamath Falls goes hungry.
Located in the lower level of Klamath Lutheran Church, the pantry is operated entirely by volunteers and sustained through donations and support from the Klamath-Lake County Food Bank. Using a client “shopping model,” guests can select the food items that best meet their household needs, fostering dignity and reducing waste. The pantry is open the last two Tuesdays of each month from 5:30–7:00 PM, offering groceries, toiletries, and seasonal essentials such as warm jackets and blankets.
The Klamath Interfaith Food Pantry is a tangible expression of shared faith and compassion. People of different traditions coming together to serve the community with love, respect, and hospitality.
